Initially, it would appear to be a stuck incline motor/gear/mechanism. Proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done) with the unit unplugged:

  • • 3 screws at the back to release the motor cover;
  • • try manually turning the incline motor to jar loose the mechanism;
  • • if still stuck and/or incline motor completely inoperable, consider a replacement. Click HERE.
