Customer Question

I have a golds gym 420 everything works fine the incline and the control panel. I can't get the belt to run. It hasn't been used more than 15 times. I moved the treadmill due to putting a new floor down in my room. Well when I moved it back plugged it in that's when the belt would not work. Golds gym said I needed a new upright harness bought one and still same problem
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: The belt on my treadmill will not run

Hi there,

Are you getting an error code on the display, or does it appear normal?

If replacing the harness did not help, then the speed sensor may need a slight adjustment - it should only be around a credit card's width away from the motor.

Check that it is in the correct position and has not moved during the movement of the machine.

Hi, just checking in on your question. How did things work out for you?

The speed sensor is located at the front roller near the motor assembly.
