We have a nordictrack 6.5z treadmill and have replaced motor

We have a nordictrack 6.5z treadmill and have replaced motor from warranty and now they won't respond to us because warranty must have ran out. It worked with new motor for 2 times and now it just shuts off. Any suggestions?

Initially, consider testing the "...new motor..." (if have not been done) by connecting it to a 12V source such as a car battery:

  • • if it will turn, then the new motor is good and the motor controller board would be the most likely suspect;
  • • on the otherhand if it will not turn, then the new motor is bad.
