Customer Question

I Have a PACER 3501 Treadmill which Is over 15 years old but has not had a lot of use. The last time I tirned it on and set the apeed, it switched off at 3km/h. I treid again with the same result. Further attempts faile to turn it on at all. I am wondering whether a loose or disconnectred wire may be at fault and if there is some technician available on the South Coast of NSW who could check it for me. The item is currently in Sussex Inlet.

Hi there,
It sounds like the motor may be overloading and cutting out when the speed is increased.
This can happen for several reasons, and usually the machine will need to be serviced to apply fresh grease to the moving parts and test the current load on the motor to ensure it is not too great.
