i have a stairmaster 3000, which needs wiring repare (it wont turn on) should i pay to have it repaired or dump it.. it is almost 20 years old but it looks o.k.

Unfortunately most of the electrical parts for this unit are no longer available so I would have to suggest getting another unit and letting this one go. They were top of the line in their day. I would lean towards precor or star-trac for a similar quality unit.
