I have a triumph 700T treadmill. I just hooked it up after it not being used for a year and a relocation from TX to LA. It shows the display but I can only select the 1st 4 programs and the belt will not start, but the incline can be changed. Any suggestions?
Only tried to start it.
Make sure the wires are not cut or pinched where they go from the motor controller to the console. Also unplug and replug in each connection on the back of the console. Once these steps are completed, if you still are having problems do the folliwing.Check the connections to the motor control board(where the motor is plugged in). Make sure the connections are secure. If all connections are good do the following. Remove the Motor cover and do the following:# XXXXX a 12-18 volt dc battery fully charged(like one from a cordless drill)# XXXXX sure it is fully charged, because it won't work if not# XXXXX the + and - to the motor red is + and black is -# XXXXX the motor turns slowly your motor is ok, if not the motor is bad and would need replaced# XXXXX the motor is ok then your motor controller(the board with the metal) is malfunctioning and would need replaced.

Checked all wires, removed and plugged all connectors/wires into both the control panel and controller. Motor tested ok. Sometimes if you press start it seems like the motor almost started, but there is just an audible click and then nothing happens. The control panel shows everything, counting time down etc, but motor won't start. Voltage output to the motor connection is 0 Volt. So I assume the controller is bad. Thanks for your help.
your right. The controller is bad.
