Tko 3E Ellyptical error E1 Used for 1 month-but warrenty has expired. what can i get my handyman to check?
E1 is no motor signal
there is not noises when we open, it is still clean, no dust nothing, the console screen is fine and everything working as norm. the machine still moves fine but to stiff to workout on
Optional Information: Make: TKO Model: 3E Already Tried: unplugging, un wiriing & rewire, opening wheel to look for anything odd
I am 100% positive that the reed switch has dust over the eye or has vibrated to far away from the magnet that is installed on the front roller next to the drive belt.. where you will find the reed switch it is the only device with wires going to the control board just move that device closer to the magnet on the front roller and make sure the eye is clear on the switch this should solve issue no parts needed to repairPlease ACCEPT my answer so i get credit for helping you
This did not work.
the E1 shows and beeps as soon as the machine has booted up.
oooh gotcha one of your buttons are stuck you need to unplug machine play with every single button until it frees itselfdoes this have the ifit option on it by chance????
No it does not have i fithttp://www.amazon.com/TKO-Cardio-Systems-Elliptical-Trainer/dp/B00339VME8
all i can say is try hitting the buttons if it doesnt work your controller is bad if a button is not stuck...if it gives you the error code when turned on it is not the reed switch that only comes into play after it doesnt count you moving
still not working, if i was to remove belt can i use manually? when i unplug now and use it is fine, it is only stuck on resistance #4 so it very hard. how can i ease resistance maually
You can open it up and there is an adjustment cable located on the brake assembly you can disconnect the cable for no resistance or back off the cable adjustment screw on the cable which you can increase or decrease the resistance about 2 settings either way
