huvster : Check that the new batteries are actually good, make sure they are in the correct way. If nothing still buy an a c adapter from the company or radio shack. If that doesn't work then your console is bad and needs to be replaced

It doesn't have a place for an ac adaptor

huvster : Not behind where the batteries go? Or anywhere on the base near the floor? Its a small hole the size of an eraser on a pencil
