Have a My Tracks step counter treadmill. It has power, but

Resolved Question:

Have a My Tracks step counter treadmill. It has power, but when I touch the speed and incline pads I cannot get anything to work. The metal button will activate, but when I try to set my speed and incline, it will not work. What could be the issue?

Remove the console from the treadmill and remove the back
remove and replace the ribbon cables that run from the keypads to the control board (they are flat plastic strips that push into the board).
remove and replace all the connections on the console
reattach the console and test. If it still doesn't work, you will need to replace the console.
