Optional Information: Make: Sole treadmill Model: s77 Already Tried: tried all outlets! and recalibrating per troubleshooting manuel from Sole.tried adjusting magnet closest to pulley. motor was "surging" between 1-1,000 MPH but now belt won't move at all
# XXXXX a 12-18 volt dc battery fully charged(like one from a cordless drill)# XXXXX sure it is fully charged, because it won't work if not# XXXXX the + and - to the motor red is + and black is -# XXXXX the motor turns your motor is ok, if not the motor is bad and would need replaced# XXXXX the motor is ok then your motor controller(the board with the metal) or the speed sensor is malfunctioning and would need replaced.Test the sensor with a meter by removing the plug and put the leads on the two wires and manually spin the front roller so that the magnet passes by the sensor. if the meter indicates it is opening and closing then the sensor is fine. if it doesn't move, replace the sensor. The proper positioning of the sensor is about a credit cards width from the magnet. If the sensor and motor tests ok then I would replace the motor controller, but check the motor and sensor first.
