my precor treadmill wont turn on. none of the LED lights on

Resolved Question:

my precor treadmill wont turn on. none of the LED lights on the face illuminate and when you press the start button, nothing happens either. the red switch in the rear, when you turn it on, illuminates red, however, when switched on however, nothing else works. will have to have someone come out but wanted to know if i could get a heads up on the problem

Pull motor cover and check LED status on main control board. Possible blown fuse on control board. Visual inspection of electronics under the front cover.

i had already taken the cover off. what i found was, when i turn the switch on, i hear a click then a red light on the circuit board illuminates and remains on. this red bulb is marked 'power'. the fuse looks good to naked eye. is the click an indiaction of some kind of power surge that is preventing machine from turning on?

The click is probably a relay turning on powering up the machine. You may have a failed motor control board. It will require a meter and some testing to determine what exactly is the problem.
