I have not been able to find the kit you saw. I am going to opt out to see if someone else may have better luck.

Hi,

What you are thinking of is the Hi-Power Detective Kit. The slide and barrel were 1" shorter than the standard 4 7/8". Sportsmans Guide had limited quantities and sold out pretty quick.

A kit sold recently on E-Bay for $475. I was not able to locate any current listings on E-Bay, GunBroker.com or GunAuction.com.

Keep checking the auction sites and E-Bay or try listing it on one of their "wish lists" The cost could be as much or more than buying a compact 9mm made by another company.

The following link is to the old Sportsmans Guide listing.
