Customer Question

I have a new 22cal rifle. Nothing special. Just mainly for plinking. I find that I am having a prairie problem. I want to buy a scope for it. I do NOT want to go overboard since I will only use it very seldom. What brand or model number is ***** that YOU personally have used and find to be a super bargain for the price? The absolute maximum I want to spend is $50.00. But, like many purchases, a $30. one might be much better than a $50. one. Your suggestion/suggestions?

Hi, I would be glad to help you any way that I can by answering your question to the best of my ability.
What kind of mounting system is in place? Is it drilled and tapped for a scope mount or does it have an integral dovetail on the top of the receiver?
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill, I can get the exact brand and model number for you tomorrow. I will also take a picture or two of the top. Len

NO rush at all Bill. The rifle is a Marlin 60. Photos of the area are coming now.

I am posting an entirely different question but on the same rifle. I have listed it for BILL ONLY.

Hi Len,
Thanks for the pictures! Very good.
I have a Model 60 Marlin also. The scope I put on mine was a bushnell I got for about $30. Now they are around $60...the first scope is very similar to the one I have on mine. The second scope is more of a tactical scope with a smaller objective lens.
Here are a couple of scopes I would recommend great for the price.
