Thank you for using Just Answer!The Browning Auto-5 shotgun is a semi-automatic shotgun designed by John. M. Browning and was offered in both 12 and 16 gauge. Barrel lengths were 26, 28, 30, or 32 inches and had various ribs and chokes. It has a square-back action that makes it easily recognizable. It has a blued finish with a checkered walnut stock, round-knob stock.There are various versions that very in the type of rib, ornamentation, as well as quality of workmanship and the materials used.
