I have a belgium browning 28 guage with a salt issue between the stock and receiver and around trigger., would this be a costly repair?
Already Tried: light cleaning
You should contact browning about it. In the past they have taken care of my customers that had salt guns. The problem comes from wood they used for stocks that had been salt cured. The only way to fix the problem is to clean and refinished the metal that has rusted and to replace the wood. Browning should do all this for you and supply you with a certificate of factory refinishing so as not to hurt the collectible value of the gun as well
