We have a 1940's HD training 22. The spring is broke. Is it possible to get fixed and make it a usable weapon. Thank you XXXXX
Good afternoon, Yes, it is possible to have it fixed. Can you tell me which spring is broken?
yes it is the return spring on the ejector. thank you
Ok...I think you mean the extractor spring, which is #5 on this diagram....is that correct?
It's in the part marked 3 or 52-A-H anyway in there. Is that the #5 spring.
Thank you
I believe that is the correct part.....So the answer is yes, your gun can be fixed. Its worth a fair amount too, so I would absolutely suggest getting it fixed.Numrich Gun Parts has parts for this gun. I would suggest having a gunsmith review the gun, just to be sure of the spring that needs to be fixed, as well as any other parts that may need repair. He can then order the parts from Numrich here - http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=8400.I hope that this helps!
