Kel-tec has developed a new pistol that holds 30 rounds of .22 magnum. They claim to have designed it to handle some of the inconsistencies with .22 magnum ammunition.

The .22 mag rifles have certainly had kind of a bad track record for extracting, ejecting and jamming issues. I have been to that is why Ruger dropped it from production in the 10/22 model. From my experience and what I have been told by others the Remington Model 597 has stood out from the rest as being much more reliable. Magnum research makes a nice 10/22 style .22 mag but you will end up paying almost three time what you can buy the Remington for. Here is a link below to the Remington site for the model 597.
