ProactiveShooters :

Good evening,

ProactiveShooters :

Do you happen to know which model you have?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.
there is no model noted. The only writing says "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N.Y.

The chamber is loaded by cocking the hammer, then pulling back a lever which exposes the barrel, putting the bullet in the barrel, then closing the lever. The Lever covers the bullet. The hammer never actually touches the bullet. When one pulls back the lever, there is a little notch which unloads the spent brass.

hope this helps.
Can you tell me the barrel length?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
the total length of the barrel is 26". that is from the front to the hammer.
Ok....based on your description, I believe that you have a Remington Rolling Block rifle, model 1 1/2...made between 1888 and 1897.

For your Remington, the following current Blue Book values apply. Retail prices may be 20% higher:

New in box/perfect --100% condition - $ N/A

Mint condition --------98% condition - $ 4000

Excellent condition -- 95% condition - $ 3500

Very Good+ condition -- 90% condition- $2750

Very Good condition ------ 80% condition - $1750

Good+ condition ------------70% condition - $1250

Good condition --------------60% condition - $900

Less than good - $300 to $800

I hope that this helps! Thank you for using Just Answer!
