I'm looking in the Blue Book of Gun Values and came across a term I've never heard of. I'm appraising a 1937 Luger and says to add 30% for "strawed" 1937 date. Vas es Das?
Thank you for using Just Answer! It is a type of finish on the gun that is straw colored (sort of goldish finish on certain parts). It is caused by a kind of heat treatment that was done for a while. Here is a photo showing a strawed trigger and another showing a strawed date:I hope this helps.
