I have a Winchester 101 Silver Pigeon 12ga, excellant condition, pre 80 manufacture and has been to Briley and choked. Thinking about trading and would appreciate a ball park unbiased value.
I am not sure what I want next. I have a Vinchi and it is probably the sweetest shotgun I have.
I will do my best to answer your question.
Here are the values below according to the Blue Book of firearms values.
12, 20, 28 ga. or .410 bore (disc. 1986), vent. O/U barrels, deluxe engraved silver receiver version of 101, select checkered wood. Mfg. 1974-87
I have seen the high end retail for as much as $3,000. I think that $2,200 would be a reasonable retail on yours in excellent condition.
