ProactiveShooters :

Good morning,

Can you tell me how the name Springfield is stated on the gun?

Customer :

Yes, Springfield Arms Company Chicopee falls Mass. USA. I hope this is what you need.

ProactiveShooters :

It is...just one moment please...

ProactiveShooters :

Ok, Springfield Arms is not the same as the more famous Springfield Armory. Springfield arms was a trade name used by the Savage Arms co. Springfields were simple, utility type shotguns. There's no recorded info as far as specific models, etc.

ProactiveShooters :

If the gun is in good, working order, value would be roughly in the $125 - $225 range....There's unfortunately not alot of interest in these...

Customer :

Thank you , I will just have fun using it.

ProactiveShooters :

Sounds good. If you haven't already fired it, you may want to just have a gunsmith look it over to make sure that its safe to handle modern ammo, due to its age.
