Customer Question

A friend of mine has a Browning 325 Grade 1 and is considering selling it. He was told by
the person he bought it from that it was a model that didn't go into production for what-
ever reason. I've looked it up in "Modern Gun Values" and to no surprise it was not listed.
The gun has gold plated trigger, single selected barrel, schnable fore-end, stainless rec-
eiver with some engraving. The blueing is like new and stock has a couple of minor nicks
behind the pistol grip. We would appreciate any light you could shed on this. Oh, I didn't
mention, it's an I/O in 20 ga. Thank you for any help. [email protected]

Chasseur :

Interesting. I'll check it out and be right back.

Chasseur :

That is a Citori 325 and they made two models, a grade II and a Golden Clays. Does it have engraving depicting a hunting scene with gold enlays?

I'm looking at the bottom of the reciever, and it's
engraved with Grade 1 so

Hi there

from what i have found, you have a Model 325 Sporting Clays/ Special Sporting Grade 1

this model was introduced in 1993, it has a european design with engraving and a grayed receiver.

It has a Schnabel forearm and a 10mm vent rib, three interchangeable triggers that also adjust and ported barrels fitted with chokes.

Browning offered this model in 12 and 20 ga, 12 ga with 28", 30"or 32" barrel, and

20 ga with 28" or 30" with conv chokes

Grade 1 values are as follows:

Perfect in the box $1350

Exc. $975

VG $750

Good $600

Fair $450

Now if it actually is a short production the value is subjective and it starts at these number of course

hope this helped
