The serial number on your Colt Single Action Army, known as the "Peacemaker," is in the date range of 1890 to 1896 (your gun was made in 1895). Called the "late black powder" period, the SAA pistol transitioned in several ways: the grips changed from wood to rubber (if with eagle insignia, add 20% to values below), the caliber designation moved from the trigger guard to the barrel, the rampant Colt insignia was added to the left side of the frame, and there are three lines of patent information.

The original box adds 25% to the value of the gun and a gun with a 4-3/4 inch barrel adds another 10% to its value.

The finish can be blued or nickel, but the blued finish is much more desirable (subtract 35% for a nickel finish).
