i have the bushnell 1600 and i put a brand new battery in it and its not powering up any ideas?

Good morning, It seems here lately that we've been getting a few questions about Bushnell Laser Rangefinders not powering up. The obvious first step is to change the 9v battery, which you've done. Make sure that it is in there correctly. Before you close the battery cover, try moving the 9v battery around slightly in place to see if there is a loose connection. That tends to happen sometimes with 9v's.If that doesn't fix it, then sending it back to Bushnell is the next step. They have a 2 year warranty on laser rangefinders.
