goathunt79 :

Correction, I should have said the post war model was reintroduced in 1964. Based on your serial number, yours is a 1991 model.

goathunt79 :

There are a few variations that were made in 1991. The difference in the models can be determined by a few things like barrel length, wood being walnut or hardwood, and checkering on the wood. The standard model is the most common found today. They were made with a 20" or a 24" round barrel, open sights, and a straight walnut stock. This model was discontinued in 1997. The traditional model was very similar to the standard model with the difference being a checkered walnut stock. This one was discontinued in 2004. The other model is the ranger. This one had only a 20" barrel and an uncheckered hardwood stock. This one was discontinued in 2006. I hope this helps you out!

Customer :

That's it? That is all you can tell me?

goathunt79 :

Well, the question is fairly vague, what else do you want to know?

Customer :

How many were made? What is the average cost?

goathunt79 :

the models that I listed retailed from $350-$400. In good condition they are valued at roughly $300 but that drops pretty quickly with the condition.

goathunt79 :

I would estimate that there were 500,000 to 550,000 of the post war models made
