I HAVE A SMITH & WESSON FIVE SHOT 38CAL. PISTOL, SERIAL NUMBER 415842. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THIS GUN IS WORTH. IT'S AN OLD GUN BUT STILL WORKSFINE. MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THIS, THANKS.

Could you post an image or note all the markings on it that you can see? Are the grips wooden or hard rubber?
ALL IT HAS ON THE SIDE OF THE BARREL IS 38 S & W OTO. THE GRIPS ARE S&W HARD RUBBER
