My father left me a Taurus Brasil 357 revolver, never been shot, what is the value?
Thank you for using Just Answer!

I'll be glad to help you, but I need to know which model you have in order to give you an accurate price. Let me know what the markings are on the gun, including the area on the frame exposed when you open the cylinder.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The Taurus Brasil /with bull horns stamped in back of the cyl. the number 669 is on the frame when you open the cyl. Made in Brasil is stamped below the cly front frame.
Thank you.

You have a Taurus Model 669, a .357 magnum revolver with a heavy 4 or 6 inch, solid-ribbed barrel with a full shroud (the part under the barrel that holds the ejection rod for the cylinder). It has a fully adjustable rear sight and has either a blued or stainless finish. The standard grips are made of Brazilian hardwood.

Retail values:

New in Box: $375
Excellent: $275
Very Good: $200
Good: $150
Fair: $100
Poor: $75

NOTE: Add $60 to above values if your gun is stainless steel.

I hope this helps.
