I am recently receiving California Unemployment insurance. I'm starting up a freelancing business whereby I will have expenses and sub contract out work.

1.) I'd like to know how my freelancing income will impact my unemployment insurance. Specifically, how should I handle it and is there a way to only claim freelancing income AFTER expenses.

2.) is there a way to structure a freelancing business so that it does not impact my unemployment insurance at all, like possible a LLC?
