I am looking to set up additional payments to a HSA account

Customer Question

I am looking to set up additional payments to a HSA account - previously i have elected to pay 50.00 per pay period- does this make good sense?

Hi. Great Question. I would estimate how much you think your out-of-pocket medical/dental/prescription expenses will be for the year - then divide it by the number of pay periods, to come to how much your deduction should be out of your paycheck for your HSA account.
