JA: The Accountant will know how to help. Please tell me more, so we can help you best.
Customer: I have a 1099B that reports $73,500 in Noncovered gross proceeds. But r]there is no cost basis provided. I think it's standard not to report the cost. But then I owe tax on $73,500 proceeds that are not gains. What kind of unnecessary complexity is this?
JA: Is there anything else the Accountant should be aware of?
Customer: No
