I have a 660 credit score and want to get a personal loan of around $6-10,000, depending on what I can get approved for. Do you know the best website or company or bank that I would have the best chances to get the loan?
Thanks

Dear Friend,

Hello and Welcome. Thank you for using Just Answer.

rakhivasavada :

I have replied your question for helping you select a Credit Card with this score. Thank you for your feedback.

rakhivasavada :

More or less, the scores would get classified in the same manner as mentioned as below.

Excellent credit score: 720 and Up
Good credit score: 680 to 719
Average credit score: 620 to 679 (You fall in this category)

rakhivasavada :

Having said this, the below mentioned link will help you suggest various options. Just fill in the details required and put your Credit as 'Fair".

Further to this, kindly explore the following resources as well, and I feel they would surely be of great help for you.

http://www.prosper.com/loans/

rakhivasavada :

Please note that these are the ones who specifically deal with fair to bad credit. However, banks too would do it on selective basis if you do not have big current outstanding debt, but the rate of interest would remain higher.

rakhivasavada :

I am sure this would help.

Do you know the best way to get marks off my credit scores that should have been removed with the bankruptcy? I was looking into Lexington lAw but reviews sound bad, sounds like I can do it my self and it's not too hard, can you advise me? Should I hire an expert to do it or try my self?

Thanks
Autumn
Dear XXXXX,

Hello and welcome again. Thank you for your follow up question.

I believe, you can certainly do it yourself. It is just not hard as you say and not need to hire any professional. This would just involve basic communications with the credit bureaus and you can certainly do it.

The following are two excellent resources which will guide you in doing that.
