I have become a us citizen and want to withdraw my employee provident fund from my country of origin, will i be taxed on the amount of $15,000.00 USD. Am as yet to receive any kind of response.

Yes and No. This is income from OUTSIDE the US but SHOULD be taxed. However the reality is they may never learn of it unless YOU report it to them.
