I was working 2 jobs ,I got laid off from 1 employer that I worked for 30yrs. My other employer i am still working for i worked for 3 yrs. I applied for N.Y state unemployment and I was accepted. But thier going to charge my 2nd employer also but I am still workin g for him. He does;nt want to pay and I agree. Is there any way My first employer should be the one nys goes after

You do not have a say in who gets to be charged the unemployment. The way NYS rules work it is the last employer that is responsible, which would be the one that you are currently working for. Make sure that NYS knows you are partially employed and adjusts your unemployment benefits by that amount or you could find yourself in a situation of having to pay back benefits when it catches up to you.
