Dear Joan,

Thank you for your question.

The phrase you are quoting is a scam to get people to reveal information about themselves and to join an organization for a price....in the eample 149 dollars.

There are depletion allowances and credits when you invest in oil and gas, but these are not available to you unless you put your assets at risk.

They are taking advantage of the obscure lanaguage of the laws, that placed our economic incentive in our hands in 2008. The rebates we got through 2008...those were connected to the economic incentive bill that were part of a total package that included an energy bill. Part of the congessional record and reason for giving the so called economic recovery rebate checks, was because of he high cost of gas. So we received the rebate already. ANY government rebate check related to this issue would not be secret, it would be public.

Do not bite on this.

Back in 2006, some senators tried to pass a gas rebate of 100 dollars, but that failed.
