My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today. Thank you for your question and for using justanswer.com. Give me a bit and I will draft you an answer.
Most likely, the JUdge just wants you to show up and give you a chance to show up for jury duty. Some Judges will give you a chance to either serve or have trial on the contempt charges. A conviction could mean up to three days in jail, a $100 fine and up to an additional $100 in court costs. If you show up for jury duty, your contempt charge would be put on the inactive docket and could later be dropped. It is possible to get up to 3 days in jail if convicted. again, it is most likely to get you to show up and teach you a lesson and you will probably not need a lawyer if this is the case.
