I filed my qdro with the court. The court clerk sent it back and requested that I file the appropriate noticed motion. What does that mean

Thank you for your question. The standard noticed motion form used in California family law cases is posted athttp://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl300.pdf Is your proposed QDRO customized or is it on the form posted athttp://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl460.pdf ?

It was drawn up by stan burr an o line qdro judge.

Then you can use the FL-300 form and file a motion for approval of the QDRO. The motion has to be served prior to filing it with the court, and clerk will want you to file a proof of service with the motion.
