A UK citizen (Not a US Citizen) dies in FL. No will, No assets in US. Probate granted in UK. Does one need Probate in FL ?

If there are no assets at all in FL, then you can probate his estate in the UK in accordance with UK laws. The only time any probate has to be conducted in the US is if there are any assets located in the US.
