Requirements (minimal) for kid's dwelling place - where they reside.
1) For a house/apartment/studio:
In NJ - kids are 6 and 16.
2) What is/are the name(s) of such requirement(s)? I heard it once - but cannot recall.

It is called "Minimum Space, Use and Location requirements"

For example, please see this ordinance which requires 70 sq feet per person (for children over age 2)
