I am currently paying alimony to my ex-spouse. If I re-marry

Customer Question

I am currently paying alimony to my ex-spouse. If I re-marry is my ex-spouse able to ask for more alimony since my new spouse is employed too?

No. The alimony amount is only based on your income, not your new spouse's income. Your ex-spouse can't use your remarriage as a means to get more alimony.
