how long does that process of asking the court to grant her custody because at the end of this month the child will be going to school and i have fear the grandparents have already enrolled her in school. what else do you need to know.

Hi - there's no specific timeframe for something like this. Instead, she would just have to file the motion and ask for an expedited hearing in order to get this done as soon as possible.......but it could still take some time. However, if the child is enrolled in school by the grandparents, that's not a huge obstacle and if the mother is granted custody, she can change the child's school afterwords.
