Help! I have recently obtained total legal guardianship of my 21 year old daughter who has severe mental health disorders. I have recently learned She has become addicted to heroine and has been shoplifting at stores to get money. She will be incurring fines and I would like to know, after her social security payments are used up, would I be responsible to pay additional fines from my own money just because I am her legal guardian?
