ok well that's really a vague response. How could it not be in his best interest. I only get him 8 days a month . He is nine and knows better than to ask Her for more time. She seems to think the step dad has as many rights as myself.
Why with so many dead beat daDs would a judge deny any request to see him more
Example 1: if it's not my day and I'm off work, he WILL go to the child care of her choice . No discussion .
He is nine and asks all the time to stay with me more . She says no . Let me ask you this . What if I decide to keep him out of school on Monday following my weekend . Or if I tell her NO I don't want him in private school, or if I just go get him from child care on my day off and it's not my alloted time and tell her ill have him home later. What can she do. Will I get arrested
What does first right of refusal mean .
The plan is outdated and so vague . We didn't hire an atty to get divorced we did it on line and went to court. I also give her the child care tax credit every year when it specifically says that I'm to claim him. Is that contempt ? And would she have to back pay me the last. 5 years
So if I'm capable of child care on my days off when she drops him off at the sitters, I can have first rights even if it's not my alloted time. i have went as far as telling her I'd pick him up before she leaves for work and have him home when she gets off and she says no still . He will go to child care. I have everything he needs here .
BotXXXXX XXXXXne I want more rights recognized and adhered to by her. Doesn't she have to by law inform me of his life. She didn't even tell me he was in cubscouts and said to back off bc it was something him and his step dad was doing . You see my dilemma . What do I need to do?
She will deny mediation.
On just the daycare thing or what. also I work a crazy swing shift and it's subject to change. Will the court take that into consideration when issuing me visitation days
The motion I mean.
So the big concern is making the parenting plan suit my best interest as much as possible . If she refuses mediation will they look at that as uncoopertive and favor me .sorry for all the questions you've been a big help. Any other examples you can give for FROR. Any other advice . Maybe keep a record of ignored text messages or emails . Or alienation on her part with his activities . I'm going in guns blazing and I want all the ammo I can get. I'll let u go and thanks if you can just answer that
Ok thanks , id rather a mediator just tell her how arrogant and she is going to lose this battle if she chooses to fight me over what she should already be doing
Thanks for your time
How can I reach you for further assisrance . Once I reread my parenting plan and you already know my situ . Maybe you can help prep me once I tell you what it all says
