What are the best Best grounds to vacate an ex parte custody

This answer was rated:

What are the best Best grounds to vacate an ex parte custody order in a state neither party has lived in 3 years?
Hello:

To best answer your question, I need a little back ground information.

Is the ex parte order new, or old? Did the party who asked for the ex parte order travel back to the state where the original custody order was signed?

Yes and I only have about 10 more minutes before we go back in after recess. She came back to the state that we used to live in and custody took place and that's Wisconsin we are both currently residents of the state of Minnesota and have been for over three years. The judge doesn't seem to have all the facts from the state of Minnesota please help
You should immediately make a verbal motion for a transfer of venue, stating that the Judge no longer has jurisdiction due to the children living in MN for the past 3 years. That's your best grounds.

If you motion is denied, you will need to appeal on those same grounds.
