My ex-wife got a judge to change my son's legal name to a different first and last name. I tried to stop this but the judge ruled in her favor.I am on the sex offender registry and my son was named after me, the second as in Jr. and she didnt want his friends to google his name and find out about my situation.I live in Missouri, she lives in Arizona. My son is 4 yrs old.

Is there any appeal or challenge we can try to get this reversed?

Yes, you can try 2 things: Motion for reconsideration or Appeal (or Motion then appeal if that motion is denied). Your local court rules would typically provide you with the deadlines, so you have to hurry. It is not unusual for the Motion to HAVE to be filed within 15 days of the Order (Rule 35 (d), Rule 82 (B), Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure (ARFLP)), and the Appeal is 30 days. link. Good luck!------- I hope this clarifies and I wish you the best.
