IOWA - MY WIFE HAS PRIMARY CARE AND WE SHARE Joint Legal Custody. SHE HAS A RESTRAINING ORDER ON ME (AN ALLEGED EVENT 13 MONTHS EARLIER - NO POLICE REPORT, HOSPITAL REPORT, WITNESS, ETC.). SINCE TEMPORARY ORDER WAS WRIITEN BY JUDGE 95 DAYS AGO, SHE HAS REFUSED TO HAND OVER ANY INFORMATION IN REGARDS XXXXX XXXXX SON'S CARE, OR EVEN HER OWN CONTACT INFORMATION. NO PHONE NUMBERS, ADDRESSES, NAMES, SCHEDULES, NOTHING. TO WHAT DEGREE IS SHE JEAPORDIZING HER CHANCES FOR PERMANENT CUSTODY?
Optional Information: State/Country relating to question: Iowa Already Tried: MY ATTORNEY HAS SENT NUMEROUSE REQUESTS TO HER ATTORNEY FOR THIS INFORMATION. SHE SUPPLIED A PHONE NUMBER ONLY THAT ENDS UP BEING A TRACK PHONE THAT HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED. SHE HAS "BUCKED" THE SYSTEM FOR YEARS, AND THUS, BELIEVES SHE CAN OPERATE ANYWAY SHE PLEASES. i AM LOOKING FOR A SECOND THOUGHT
If there is a temporary order and she is not complying in over 90 days, your next step is filing a motion for an order to show cause for contempt. You must do so to bring this to the attention of the court and what he is doing she is jeopardizing her right to Joint Custody with primary physical custody and giving you the advantage to argue that she is not acting in the best interests of the child to foster a healthy relationship with the non-Custodial Parent.
