If both the husband and wife do not want child support, does there have to be a child support order. I.e. my ex wife has expressed a refused for support. Does the court have a right to make me pay support.

Hello. My name is XXXXX XXXXX X will be happy to answer your question.Your wife doesn't have legal right to refuse/give up the child support payment, due to the fact that the child support payment is not for your wife's benefit, but for the benefit of the minor child, so the court has to enter a child support order according to the law and the Child Support Guidelines. If you are satisfied with my answer, I would appreciate if you would click on the accept button or a smiley face..Please keep in mind if you already made a deposit or on a monthly subscription plan you will not incur any additional charges, but I will only be compensated for my time and effort only if you click on ACCEPT or a Smiley Face.Bonus and positive feedback are always greatly appreciated
