Would i still have to pay back child support if my kids live

Resolved Question:

Hello there:

Past-due child support (arrears) does not go away unless it is paid or offset. Having your children will not make the old support go away, but you may be able to get the support order changed so that the other parent is paying support to you and that amount could be applied toward what you owe.

I hope that this helps you to understand the law in your situation. Let me know if I may be of further assistance. Thank you.
