i live in virginia can my husband remove me from his health insurance if we aren't legally seperated or divorced he cancelled my coverage on april 13 without my knowing

Thank you for your question.

If you are married and share coverage, he cannot simply drop you from his health insurance. So while he does have the ability to do so, he legally is allowed to do so if you do not have other coverage.

To fight this, contact your local courthouse and file a petition for spousal support as well as health insurance coverage if he does not re-add you to the coverage voluntarily.
