Customer Question

can I rescind my signature off of my marriage license or application from marriage license?

Optional Information:
State/Country relating to question: Utah

Already Tried:
I have an Order of Stipulation and Settlement agreement and an Order of Divorce Decree that followed. There has been errors in translation between the 2 orders and it is obvious as to the fact that the two orders don't match. If that is the case, can I rescind my signature from the Divorce Decree due to Fraud in the inducement. To answer the question in your mind of how long, it has been almost 2 years since these documents have been filed and I didn't realize these mistakes until now.

Your question says can you take your name off a marriage license or application for a marriage license. Was the marriage performed based on the marriage license?

Customer replied1336 days and 7 hours ago.

yes, In Utah I had to fill out an application for a marriage license, which than was good for 30 days. I'm assuming the idea here is that I rescind my signature off of the marriage application? or the marriage license?

Yes if you decide not to get married you turn the unused license back into the county and that voids it.
