how long do i have to pay child support? the child is 19 & goes to college. he has two classes @ junior college.
i have been paying.
If the child is in college and making passing grades, you will have to pay until what is 'reasonable time' to obtain a degree. It is normal for 4 years to obtain a degree(Bachelor's), thus if he has not finished at the age of 21 or 22, you should motion the court to stop the child support based on the fact that he is not taking full-time schedule.
If you are satisfied, please press the accept button so I will be paid for my time and services.
